Ascension Seton is a 12 hospital network in Austin and the surrounding area. At a minimum, the program must be a five-year pharmacy degree program.Īpplicants must be eligible for pharmacist licensure in Texas. Ascension Seton, in conjunction with the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, is offering four PGY1 Pharmacy Residency positions. Additional rotations are available as electives.Īpplicants to pharmacy residencies must be graduates or candidates for graduation of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited degree program (or one in process of pursuing accreditation) or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). After completing the orientation month, residents are required to complete two rotations in Internal Medicine (one in each the academic and community hospital settings) and one rotation in each of the following: Adult Critical Care, Adult Infectious Diseases, Practice Management, and a Pediatric rotation.
